Ok, back to it

Wow, it's been a whole month since I posted anything, but since noone but me is reading this, it probably doesn't matter much :). O well, I finished Insanity two weeks ago and I am really, really glad it's over. I probably will never do that again. Did I get in really good cardiovascular shape? Yes, for the most part. Did it help me shape my body? Again, yes. But to be working out as hard as I was and not get the exact results I'm looking for bothered me quite a bit. I didn't lose any weight, and I know, I know it's not all about the scales, but I would have like to have seen some weight loss. I do think that I lost some inches but I never measured so I'm not sure about that. Anyway, on to bigger and better things. I have started a program called Turbulence Training. It is a circuit workout focused mainly on bodyweight exercises but some dumbbell work is involved. I am also eating more trying to build muscle. I will also try to keep up with my cardio and try not lose everything that I almost died for the past two months.
Erika is now 26 weeks preggers and we have not anything to get ready for the baby. We really need to get a move on things. Lots to do: paint, buy new furniture, buy new bedding, etc. Oh well, the life of a working dad. Til next time!
